Victim Uncooperative After Oneonta Stabbing

On Tuesday, April 1st at about 8 PM the City of Oneonta Police responded to a River Street address for a reported stabbing.

Upon arrival the Oneonta Police found a 35-year-old resident of Oneonta injured from two stab wounds to his side. The victim was transported to Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital and is being treated for his injuries.

Police feel that that the incident may be drug related. Officials state that the victim is uncooperative and refusing to pursue criminal charges against any suspects.

The case remains under investigation.
