Otsego County Planning Board Offers Upcoming Workshop

The Otsego County Planning Department offers annual workshops on planning and zoning topics. This April, the department will be teaming with the Southern Tier East Regional Planning Development Board to offer a local government training workshop featuring information on both open meetings and the freedom of information laws.

A local government training workshop is schedule from 5:30-8:30 p.m. April 3 at SUNY Oneonta's Hunt Union ballroom. The featured speaker will be Robert Freeman of the New York Department of State.

Registration is required by April 1st. You can register online at localgovtraining.eventbrite.com or call 547-4225. Registration is limited to the first 80 registrants.

The sessions offered in this workshop can qualify to meet the state training requirement for members of planning boards and zoning board of appeals.
