Oneonta Job Corps Academy Reaches Out To Community For National Groundhog Shadow Day [Audio]

Remember back to those first job interviews when you were totally green and didn't have any job experience yet?  The dreaded question always came up, "What job experience do you have?"  Your answer, of course, was "none" and then you never got the call with the job offer because you didn't have the job experience the employer was looking for.  It's like a catch 22, isn't it?  You need experience to get a job, but how do you get experience until someone hires you without it?

So we've all been in that situation and that's why job shadowing is so important for those getting started in a career.  Oneonta Job Corp students would love a chance to do a one day job shadowing experience in the community when National Groundhog Shadow Day comes around, the first week of February.
