Oneonta Balloon Festival Draws Hundreds to Neahwa Park

Hundreds of sun worshipers gathered in Neahwa Park in Oneonta to attend the annual Balloon Festival.  The weather was bright and sunny with temperatures climbing up into the 80s.  A full concession midway did a brisk business, several hundred residents sat in chairs to enjoy the music, kids enjoyed the inflatable objects and, wait...where were all the balloons?

Well I never saw a single one go off because they were all in the air at one time! It was an amazing sight and I was able to photograph seven of them "coming around the mountain."

It was a great afternoon in the "City of the Hills."
