Assemblyman Cliff Crouch announced Friday that a bi-partisan agreement has been reached between his colleagues in the state legislature and the governor that will fully restore funding to programs for the developmentally disabled.

The state budget had cut $90 million from the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities since then Crouch and his republican colleagues in the assembly have been advocating the restoration of that money.

The restoration of the $90 million will allow for the necessary staff, services and living conditions for citizens with developmental disabilities. The assembly voted 146 to 1 on the measure, with Speaker Silver casting the only ballot not signed on to the measure.
