Commerce Chenango Holds ‘Business After Hours’ Event

Earlier this week Commerce Chenango hosted a "business after hours" networking event at Frontier Communications in Norwich. As always, those in attendance shared a meal sponsored by Frontier and all attending got to mingle with other business leaders in Chenango County. Highlight of the event was the introduction of new Director of Dispatch Operations out of the Sherburne center, Don Henry. Henry comes to Frontier with lots of experience in communications.

"Prior to this I was the general manager up in Boonville, covering Boonville, Lowville, and Old Forge, Vlaski, Adams, Hannibal, Cato and prior to that I was employed at Verizon Telecommunications," Henry said. "I spent 23 years there working in the field as the director of operations and I took a sabbatical for about 18 months."

As Director of Operations at the Sherburne center, Henry is responsible for the dispatching of technicians in the field for Frontier in New York and Pennsylvania.
