Gillibrand to Announce New Federal Funding for Private Partnerships Today

U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand will be at Golden Artist Colors, Inc. in New Berlin today to announce new federal legislation to help bolster high tech manufacturing in the southern tier and across the state.

Senator Gillibrands bill would create a federal funding competition that encourages regional public private partnerships to develop strategies that spur growth for local manufacturing industries.

Gillibrand is scheduled to make her announcement at 3 p.m.
