Fatal ATV Accident in Sherburne Saturday Night

The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office investigated a fatal ATV accident Saturday just before midnight in the town of Sherburne.

Jeremy Edmonds, 33, of New Jersey, died at the scene. Edmonds, a passenger on the ATV, and the driver, 25-year-old Mark Brong were both thrown from the vehicle after going off Brown Road.

Brong was taken to St. Elizabeth Medical Center, where he is still in critical condition. The investigation into the cause of the accident continues.
