SUNY Oneonta will receive three awards totaling $460,000 through the new SUNY Investment and Performance Fund, established through a first-of-its-kind allocation from New York in the 2015-16 State budget. SUNY Oneonta will receive $350,000 (shared with SUNY Cobleskill) to support a new “Making Cent$ of Life After College” financial literacy program that helps students develop a strong understanding of personal financial management concepts. $90,000 to enhance advisement capabilities, including the acquisition and implementation of Early Alert Software. And $20,000 for efforts to increase graduate student enrollment, retention and post-graduate success.
