October will be a fun-packed month for the Huntington Memorial Library. The Minecraft Club will kick off the month on October 1st. There will be computers and tablets specified during Minecraft open hours from 3 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Thursdays. Registration is required.

The Friends Program will be held on October 3rd at 6:30 p.m. There will be a special Author Reading and Discussion even with Ginnah Howard, author of “I’m Sick of this Already: At-Risk Learning in a High School Class.” All are welcome.

There will be a Genealogy Workshop where participants can create their own family tree using familysearch.org. An instructor will be present for any questions. This event will take place on October 5th at 1:30 p.m.

Design your own Jack-O-Lantern at 3D Design! On October 6th, use Tinkercard to design and create your own version of a Jack-o-lantern. 10 a.m. for all ages, 4:30 p.m. for ages 8 to 16, and 6 p.m. for 16 and older. Registration is required.
