Oneonta Streetscape Project Set To Begin

The City of Oneonta is announcing that construction work for the Downtown Streetscape Project will begin April 11th. Work will start on the corners of Chestnut Street and Main Street, and work will proceed block by block. Construction will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Weekend hours of operation are not anticipated, but hours of operation are subject to change due to weather conditions or other unexpected circumstances.  All work should be completed by the end of June.  All sidewalks and streets will remain open, but there will be some limited access in parts of downtown during the project. This limited access will include closed off sections of sidewalks and closed off parking spaces.
