Next month the City of Oneonta is launching a $2.33 million grant program that will catalyze investment in Oneonta’s historic core. Through the Downtown Improvement Fund, local business and property owners can seek grant funding to renovate, repair and improve properties. In addition to prioritizing signage, facades and upper-story housing, the City is challenging stakeholders to “think big” by including a “Transformative” project category in the application. A series of information sessions are scheduled for Monday, July 2 at the Foothills Performing Arts Center.
