NYS to Allow Smart Phone Insurance ID Proof

Some New York drivers will now be able to keep their proof of insurance on their smart phones. The Cuomo administration announced that GEICO has become the first insurance company in New York allowed to provide customers with electronic identification cards on their smart phones and electronic devices. The e-card will be available to New York customers on the GEICO app starting today.
