Jennifer Lawrence has never been one to divulge too much about her dating life, choosing to keep it private. But she had an uncharacteristically revealing moment in a recent interview when she spoke candidly about her breakup with former boyfriend, actor Nicholas Hoult.

Speaking with Diane Sawyer as part of her current promo tour for the last installment of the mega movie franchise The Hunger Games, Lawrence spoke openly about how the demise of her relationship with Hoult coincided with the end of shooting those movies and what that meant for her.

She revealed (via Vanity Fair), “These movies had been my life for so long and they had to come first in everything. I was also in a relationship with somebody for five years and that was my life. So my life was this person and these movies and we broke up around the same time that I wrapped those movies. Being 24 was this whole year of ‘Who am I without these movies? Who am I without this man?’"

Lawrence and Hoult first began dating in 2011 after meeting during a screen test for X-Men: First Class. The couple were on-and-off for the next few years, getting back together after an initial January 2013 breakup until splitting for good in 2014, citing busy schedules as the main reason for the split. Lawrence has since been linked to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, though the two are reportedly no longer together.

She and Sawyer also breached the topic of marriage, with Lawrence admitting she's not sure it's right for her: "I don't know if I ever will get married and I'm O.K. with that. I don't feel that I need anything to complete me. I love meeting people, men, women, whatever, I love people coming into your life and bringing something.”
