Got $800 to burn? You could pay rent, make a dent in that looming credit card debt, or, if you're feeling a little conspicuous, pick up a bottle of Jay Z's new champagne. LIFE IS FOR LIVING, WE SAY!

According to Bloomberg, Jay's Ace of Spades, which is officially $760 a bottle, will hit stores in October. The product is the result of the rapper's feud with Cristal, a champagne brand he'd have previously died for.

Evidently, Frederic Rouzaud, the managing director of Louis Roederer—which produces Cristal—insinuated that he wasn't so thrilled about his product appearing so visibly in the hip-hop community. When Jay got word about the dismissive remarks, he stopped stocking his 40/40 Club with the drink, boycotted the product completely and moved to partner with Armand de Brignac, which now makes Ace of Spades.

Ace of Spades will be sold in "smooth, lacquered black boxes lined in black velvet," Bloomberg writer Elin McCoy notes, and will stand as the company's most expensive beverage. McCoy, who got an early taste at a Vinexpo event in June, calls it "full, rich and tangy" and writes "The buxom fruit flavors hit you right upfront and then reverberate like an insistent rap beat." Sounds like a rave review to us! Your move, Rouzaud...

What do you think—is the price tag on Jay's bubbly a little extreme? Tell us if you'd ever pick up a bottle and, you know, if you need any drinking company.
