Large crowds turned out to welcome participants in the "Great Race" to Norwich on Sunday.  The annual classic car race includes 118 drivers and travels over 2,000 miles through the Northeast U.S. plus a couple of Canadian provinces. The race goes between Buffalo, N.Y. to Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada.  Over 100 cars, from all over the world and many from the U.S., compete in this timed race. The racers stopped at the Northeast Classic Car Museum for lunch.

The Hemming Motor News Great race is now in its 35th year.
