Free Lyme Disease Prevention Talk Offered

The Otsego County Conservation Association and Mohican Farm kick off their 2018 Be Informed! lecture series on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at The Clark Sports Center on County Road 52 in Cooperstown beginning at 6:30 p.m.The initial topic will be “Ticks and Lyme Disease: What You Need to Know”. SUNY Cobleskill Associate Professor Dr. Carmen Greenwood will present information on the biology and ecology of ticks including the deer tick which transmits Lyme disease. The program is free and open to the public.
