There were plumes of smoke rising above the Otsego County Sheriff’s office on Tuesday but the fire wasn’t at their headquarters – it was at a private property next door, according to the Otsego County Sheriff's OfficeAccording to WBNG, a person was burning cardboard next to a trailer when the flames spread and ignited the trailer. Cooperstown firefighters were joined by crews from Milford and Hartwick Seminary along with the state Department of Environmental Conservation to get the fire put out. There were no reports of injuries.
