Congressman Anthony Brindisi was in Chenango County Tuesday to visit with constituents on various issues.  He conducted a town hall meeting in Sherburne on rural broadband access in the county.  The 22nd District freshman representative conducted a workshop with Farm Service Agency leaders to discuss a new dairy program from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.  Brindisi also heard from veterans about their access to health care after a reform bill was passed last year.

Additionally, Brindisi toured the Village of New Berlin. Led by Mayor Terry Potter, Brindisi visited various spots in the village. Brindisi heard about the community’s infrastructure needs and the need for economic development in the region.
