There’s a new four-legged member of Bassett Medical Center’s security team. K-9 Hudson is the first dog to join the hospital’s security team and will be working with his partner security officer Robert Meiser. Hudson made his debut last month and not only can he help with security he’s also trained to be a comfort dog who interacts with patients, visitors and staff. Bassett’s security team has over 60 officers and is the network’s liasion with law enforcement.
