Arrests Made In Delhi

Following a police investigation and the subsequent execution of a search warrant, the Village of Delhi police Department arrested three men Monday for third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Authorities say 56-year-old James Stergas of Delhi, 27-year-old Jon Stalter of Cooperstown and 46-year-old Roger Gilbertson of Oneonta allegedly possessed 40 bags of heroin. The men were arraigned at Kortright Town Court and sent to the Delaware County Jail. Cash bail was set in the amount of $15,000 for Stalter and Gilbertson, and $30,000 for Stergas.
