A Re-Cap of “This Week in Central New York”

Join us each and every Saturday at 7:00 AM for "This Week in Central New York," which airs on all of our radio stations.

This week Eric Malanoski interviewed Stephanie Bauer from the Cooperstown League of Women Voters and also Dr. Nicole Waid from Edmeston School,.  Both are co-organizers of an event to register new voters in our area.  They will be particularly interested in registering 17 and 18-year olds who will be eligible to vote in 2020.

Big Chuck interviewed retiring Oneonta School Superintendent Joseph Yelich.  He discussed the details about the big school budget vote coming up later this month.  This will be his final school budget and we wish him well in retirement.

On this week's show Leslie Ann visited with Roy Bartoo about Trout Unlimited and their summer events.  The group does much to encourage fishing in our area and the care of our waterways.
