“Nutcracker” dancers kick off holidays with family scavenger hunt.

Heading to Oneonta’s annual holiday parade?  Keep your eyes open for the Mice on Main Street!  Dancers costumed as mice from the Fokine Ballet Company’s “Nutcracker” will be making appearances at Main Street businesses as part of a scavenger hunt for one hour after the parade on Saturday, November 22.

Children and families who wish to participate in the hunt will receive bingo cards with a list of riddles and clues on where to find the mice.  Locate a mouse and have the card stamped. Then return the completed card to be entered into a drawing for free tickets to “The Nutcracker.”

The Fokine Ballet Company’s 27th annual production of “The Nutcracker” will be performed on Friday, December 19 at 7pm and on Saturday, December 20 at 1pm and 7pm at SUNY Oneonta’s Goodrich Theater.  For tickets and more information, please phone the Decker School of Ballet at (607) 432-‐6290 or email deckerschool@hotmail.com.
