The United Way of Delaware and Otsego Counties is looking for a helping hand from people like you - those with big hearts and want to help those in need.  The focus is providing those in need in our community with food and hygiene items.  Below is a list of suggested items to donate from August 19th to September 14th:

Kid –Friendly Foods: Peanut Butter and Jelly, canned fruit (light syrup or sugar free), canned vegetables, dried fruit (individual boxes of raisins), soups, crackers – saltines and grahams, cereal, pancake mix, 100% fruit juice, tuna fish, macaroni and cheese, pasta/rice sides, pasta sauce, shelf stable milk

Hygiene Items: toothbrushes, toothpaste, hand soap/sanitizer, deodorant, shampoo/conditioner, hair accessories, shower soap, shaving supplies, toilet paper/tissues, mouthwash, dental floss, cotton swabs, laundry supplies
