This Saturday at Foothills: “Of Mice and Men” (VIDEO)

As most of my listeners know, I am a nut for movies and shows.  I see a lot of them, probably more than most people do.  I have been like that ever since I was a kid.  Well, here is one you MUST NOT MISS.

The National Theatre of London presentation of John Steinbeck's classic "Of Mice and Men" will be aired on the big screen at Foothills Performing Arts Center this Saturday, August 8, at 12:55 pm.  The production stars James Franco and Chris O'Dowd.  It was filmed live before a sold out audience in London earlier this year.  The play then moved to Broadway.

My wife and I saw this in Albany and let me tell you...of anything I have seen this year so far, this is the one that sticks with me the most.  I absolutely loved it and the performances were mesmerizing.  I strongly encourage you to go and see this.  The last 5 minutes of this performance are heart stopping.  You can literally hear a pin drop in the audience.  It is fantastic.
