Workers at Target who make minimum wage will soon see more in their paychecks as the company announced Monday it is raising the hourly wage to $11 an hour. Target’s minimum wage was previously boosted to $10 per hour last May. This increase brings Target’s minimum over Walmart who increased pay to $10 an hour last year. Target CEO Brian Cornell said he wants to be “very definitive” and “very declarative” about Target’s commitment to and investment in its employees.
