After a couple of days of non-stop news from the D23 expo, we finally have something that’s not Star Wars or Pixar-related. Another major franchise made a bit of a boo-boo over the weekend, as Lionsgate unwittingly unleashed a new poster for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, and it features what many feel is the absolute worst expletive that exists.

When an Entertainment Weekly cover revealed our first look at Oscar Isaac as the titular villain in X-Men: Apocalypse, most fans were not impressed, drawing comparisons to cheesy Power Rangers villain Ivan Ooze. But, director Bryan Singer is back to defend the costume, saying it’s actually “very similar” to the comic book design, and has shared some new hi-res X-Men: Apocalypse photos at the same time.

The second time they teamed together they made American Hustle, and she was nominated for another Oscar. Now they’ve got Joy, yet another prestige drama coming out in December. Looks like they’re going for the trifecta.

Not long ago, we heard a report suggesting that Lionsgate is planning on developing more Hunger Games sequels (or prequels, maybe), which makes sense given the franchise’s vast global success. Josh Hutcherson appeared on Conan O’Brien’s show with Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth to promote The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, where he added fuel to the sequel rumor fire.

Conan O’Brien is broadcasting his nighty talk show live from Comic-Con 2015 this week, and after hosting the panel for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 yesterday afternoon, he had the stars on his show later in the evening to further discuss the film. But then they got a bit off track when O’Brien broached the subject of Jennifer Lawrence’s singing abilities.
