The Oneonta Police Department released a statement via its Facebook page saying it has arrested 25-year-old Timothy A. Button in connection with a recent string of robberies in the area.

Attorney General Eric Schneiderman on Tuesday announced a multi-agency narcotics crackdown that led to a 226-count indictment, charging 31 defendants with distributing large quantities of cocaine throughout the capital region.

Delaware County Sheriff's Investigators have arrested a Jason Wilsey, of Davenport, on a Sealed Indictment charging him with the A-1 felony offense of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the First Degree.

State Police at Sidney arrested a Casey J. Callahan, 47, of Norwich, Wednesday on three counts of criminal sexual act in the 1st Degree, a Class B felony, and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, a Class A misdemeanor.

A Town of New Lisbon man was arrested for selling, growing and possessing marijuana following a 2012 narcotics investigation that was conducted by the Otsego County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Division and the Oneonta Police Department Detective Bureau with assistance from the Drug Enforcement Agency.

Chatrajit Hemraj, 38 of the Bronx, was indicted and arrested by Otsego County Sheriffs Monday for perjury as a result of his testimony to the grand jury on Dec. 4. On Aug. 8, he was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after heroin and money were seized. Kyle Jay Vanderwerker, 24, who was the former manager of the Amber Life Inn motel in Colliersville, was arrested for possessing and cashing a $600 forged Amber Life Inn business check that was dated Jan. 3, 2012. Vanderwerker cashed the forged check in the city of Oneonta on June 26. The owner of the motel had contacted the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office back in September to report another crime,
