Suspect In Oneonta Murder Pleads Guilty

A Delaware County man takes a plea deal in the New Year’s Day murder of his friend at the man’s Oneonta apartment. According to court papers Joshua Underwood plead guilty to first degree manslaughter in the death of Mark Morrison who died due to blunt force trauma.  According to Oneonta City Police, Underwood tried to cover up the murder by stuffing newspapers in Morrision’s apartment doorway then setting them on fire. Sentencing is scheduled for December 15.
