You may not remember this, but back during E3 Nintendo announced a Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Collector's Bundle that includes the game, a GameCube controller, and the Wii U Gamecube Adapter all for $99.99. If you did forget Amazon is here to remind you, as the listing has just popped up for pre-order.

We hadn't heard a thing about the bundle since its announcement, so we technically weren't sure if it was even still coming, but Nintendo and Amazon are quick to remind us that the deal is still there and that now is time to strike. It is a decent deal when you think about it, as those three components separately would run you $110, so being able to save $10 is always a good thing.

While we get that the Gamecube controler is the preferred Smash method, we wonder if the Wii U's Pro Controller would work just as well, or if the GamePad would be a decent option despite its size. The other major Wii U fighting game, Tekken Tag Tournament, used both of those and both served admirably, so perhaps the same could be true for Smash. We'll have to wait and see.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U launches this holiday season.
