SUNY Oneonta and Hartwick Team Up For Cancer Fundraiser

More than 1,100 students from SUNY Oneonta and Hartwick College will team up this weekend on their annual Relay for Life fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.

This year’s event will be held from 6 pm Friday 7th March through 6 am the next day at the Alumni Field House. Team members will take turns walking laps around the gym, and participants will be entertained with music, games, contests, and other fun activities.

Relay for Life is organized by the Colleges Against Cancer student groups at the two colleges with support from SUNY Oneonta’s Center for Social Responsibility and Community. Last year’s event raised more than $50,000 for the American Cancer Society.
