A Sherburne resident was arrested Sunday by the Chenango County sheriff’s office for 2nd degree menacing, 4th degree criminal possession of a weapon, endangering the welfare of a child, and discharging a firearm from a vehicle.

Kyle A. Davis, 23, allegedly pointed a handgun at a victim’s face in a threatening manner. Both parties then left the scene, and Davis responded to the vicinity of the victim.

While in the area and in police presence, Davis discharged a handgun several times. Davis was arraigned in Town of Sherburne court and remanded to the Chenango County correctional facility on $5,000 bail. The sheriff’s office was assisted by New York state police.
