State Senator James L. Seward and Assemblyman Clifford W. Crouch are joining forces with to get the federal government to reopen the New York State Division of Veterans’ Affairs office in Sidney. It was closed in May in what was described by the VA as a cost cutting move. According to Senator Seward's Office, the Sidney office was one where space was rented but Seward and Crouch say they’ve secured no-charge office space at Tri-Town Regional Hospital to reopen the center.
