Fox News put this "Pitbull in Lipstick" down.

Sarah Palin's contract with the "Fair and Balanced" (hey, they have a sense of humor) network wasn't renewed for 2013.

The Alaskan half-term governor served as a commentator on the conservative-leaning channel for three years, offering her puddle-deep insights and intellect as vast as a shoebox on several shows.

The New York Times reports that Palin parted ways with Fox, but it's unclear who really ditched whom.

"We have thoroughly enjoyed our association with Governor Palin," executive vice president of programming at Fox News, Bill Shine, said in a statement. "We wish her the best in her future endeavors."

Translation? It was fun, but not worth the $1 million a year she was getting.

On the bright side, now that '30 Rock' is ending, Tina Fey's available. If this news didn't break today, we probably wouldn't have known the difference if they swapped her in.
