PlayStation Store Getting Season Pass Feature for TV Shows

Stay up-to-date will all your favorite shows using the Season Pass feature on the PlayStation Store.

The PlayStation Blog has announced that the Season Pass feature has launched for Video Unlimited and the PlayStation Store. The Season Pass makes it much easier to buy whole seasons of your favorite TV shows. This also includes current seasons with the ability to watch the latest episodes as they air on TV. Netflix is good and all, but there are a lot of people out there who would want to digitally watch season five of 'The Walking Dead,' and not have to wait over 9 months for Netflix to get it. The Season Pass has officially launched for the PS3 and PS Store online. Bravia TVs, Blu-ray Disc players and PS4 support for Season Pass functionality will be coming soon.

Until Oct. 30, the PlayStation Store will be offering discounts on full seasons of its most popular TV series, such as 'The Walking Dead.' $5.59 for an entire season of Rick Grimes' zombie apocalypse sounds like a deal.
