Even though the National Baseball Hall of Fame's 75th Anniversary Concert was cancelled (featuring Paul Simon), Cooperstown will still have entertainment this Saturday, August 2nd.  It was just announced that from 7pm to 9pm, Moonalice, a San Francisco based band, which was originally supposed to play in the cancelled concert and had planned to be in the area, will perform original material and several cover tunes.  Then at 9pm, "Cinema Under the Stars" will screen Kevin Costner's baseball classic "Field of Dreams".  The screen will back up on Otsego Lake, providing a panoramic backdrop to the movie.

People are encouraged to bring a picnic if they like to Lake Front Park in Cooperstown to enjoy the events of the evening.  For more information call 1-888-HALL-OF-FAME.
