Oneonta Water Notices Still In Place

Oneonta residents, you've probably been wondering, after a water main break on West Street on Friday, February 13th, when the city would lift the two water notices? One is for water conservation and the other for boiling water in a certain area.  Both could come at any time but the city has not yet lifted either one.

Residents from 171 West Street to 264 West St., have been asked to boil water since they are close to where the water main break took place.  The boil water notice will be lifted when water sample results come in and the water conservation order will remain in effect until high-service water tank levels return to normal.
