Sens. Joni Ernst, Kirsten Gillibrand Attend Hearing On Paid Family Leave

New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand took to a late-night TV talk show Tuesday to announce she wants to run for president next year. The junior U.S. Senator says she’s forming an exploratory committee to look at forming a candidacy and that allows her to raise money and use money from her senatorial campaign to pay for activities including polling, travel, and telephone calls. Gillibrand is planning a trip to Iowa later in the week.
