NYS Pro-Fracking Group Wants Their Voice Heard

More than 500 residents of the Southern Tier protested the governor’s decision to ban fracking in New York State, Monday night in Binghamton. Landowners are unhappy with the ban believing fracking will improve the area’s economy. Although the decision has been made, The Joint Landowners Coalition said they will be looking to federal politicians and others to help them decide what do do after the environmental impact statement is finalized. The coalition says it has more than 70,000 supporters in the state.
