The National Weather Service in Binghamton has issued a flash flood watch for Otsego, Delaware and Chenango counties through Tuesday morning.

Some areas are still recovering from last week's flooding, but more hazardous weather may be on its way. The NWS is forecasting an additional 1-2 inches of rain Monday with isolated storms dropping 2-4 inches.

Water washed out part of Otsego County Route 31 in Springfield between Cooperstown and Glimmerglass State Park. That road is closed indefinitely until repairs can be made.
