Laugh-In’s “Sock It To Me Girl”, Judy Carne, Dies

Judy Carne has died at the age of 76.  She was a longtime cast regular on the popular 1960s comedy show "Laugh-In."  Judy would "take a beating" each week as she popularized the phrase "sock it to me" accompanied by pratfalls, trap doors and those hundreds of buckets of cold water thrown at her.  She is on the left on the Saturday Evening Post cover above.

She was also Burt Reynolds' first wife.  They were married from 1963-1965.
