Justin Bieber competed against Deion Sanders on Spike's Lip Sync Battle last night (July 16), and essentially reminded everyone that he can still turn the charm on like a light switch.

You know those "Who Wore It Better" features in gossip magazines? Have you ever noticed that half the time, they're pitting an actress or other female celebrity against a professional model who, by definition of their profession, looks better in clothes than most humans? In this Lip Sync Battle scenario, Justin Bieber has a similar slightly-unfair advantage over Sanders, because he is literally paid to sing and dance and win the hearts and minds of every hunk-loving human in the audience. Still, Deion came to lip-sync for his very life, and it was anybody's game.

Justin took on Fergie's "Big Girls Don't Cry" and didn't miss a beat — or a flirtatious sidelong glance, or an opportunity elicit screams by running his hand over his body. He absolutely killed it, and by the time he caressed Deion's face in a mid-song serenade, he was just showing off.

"Full commitment," Bieber told host LL Cool J afterward (that's also the secret to being good at karaoke). Sanders made a strong push with his mouthed rendition of Wild Cherry's "Play That Funky Music," but did he match Justin's charisma? Watch the clip above and decide for yourself.

Sanders upped the ante with his spin on Madonna's "Like a Virgin," donning full-on 1980s Madge drag for the number. His own "full commitment" was admirable, and it may be what ***spoiler alert*** helped him emerge as the evening's winner. Justin came out with pyro a-blazing for Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train." While JB seems a bit impeded by his wig, he truly sells it with the very Ozzy-ish wide eyes, and the...well, just watch until the end.

Do you think Deion deserved to win, or is Justin the true winner in your eyes?
