Delaware County Sheriff's Deputies and Investigators arrested four Walton men Tuesday on felony drug possession charges following a vehicle stop on State Highway 206 in the Town of Walton. Deputies and members of the Delaware County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division, acting on a tip, were conducting surveillance on that highway and subsequently stopped a vehicle occupied by the four men after Deputies observed a number of vehicle and traffic violations being committed. Deputies and Investigators assisted by K-9 “Ozzie, say they discovered and seized 82 bags of heroin, over $14,000 in U.S. Currency, prescription narcotics, marihuana, a hypodermic instrument and other drug paraphernalia from the vehicle.

34 year old Nathan Williams, 37 year old Adam Green, 32 year old Patrick Ladd and 28 year old Eric Black were all charged with 3rd degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. Green was additionally charged with Unlawful Possession of Marihuana. The driver, Williams was additionally charged with Vehicle & Traffic Law violations for Speeding, Failure to Notify the Commissioner of a Change of Address, Operating a Motor Vehicle with an Obstructed View and Operating a Motor Vehicle without an Inspection Certificate. All four defendants were arraigned Tuesday night and were each remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility in lieu of $150,000 cash bail.
