First Night Oneonta, a fun way to spend New Year's Eve with family and friends is changing things up to welcome 2015: instead of having entertainment at various venues in Downtown Oneonta, First Night Oneonta will be centrally located at Foothills Performing Arts Center on December 31st.

First Night Oneonta is a New Year’s Eve celebration of art, music and culture. this festival is a wonderful way to bring in the New Year in an uplifting, alcohol-free, family friendly atmosphere!  To kick off the celebration, 5:30pm Opening Ceremonies will dedicate the event to Mayor Dick Miller culminating in a 900 Balloon drop from the ceiling of the Foothills Atrium with prize giveaways.  What a way to start things off!

First Night Oneonta, from 5:30pm to 10:30pm, features a splendid array of children's activities and entertainment guaranteed to delight all ages. Performances include incredible music, dancing, puppetry, juggling, fire spinning, magic, clowning, and mime topped off with an Amazing Fireworks Display at 10:15pm.

You can purchase your First Night Oneonta button, which is your ticket in to all First Night events for $15, children 12 and under are FREE and volunteers receive a free button.  You can either purchase your button at the door or at various venues throughout Oneonta.
