Fill The Boot For MDA Today!

It's a 60 year old tradition - the Fill The Boot campaign to help local families dealing with Muscular Dystrophy. Members of the Oneonta Fire Department IAFF Union Local 2408 and those from the Muscular Dystrophy Association will be kicking off this long standing tradition to help save the lives of people battling this and other muscle diseases in the Oneonta area today.

Today from 7am to 6pm you'll find Oneonta Firefighters in front of the Oneonta fire station and across the city with boots in hand to collect donations to passersby.  Funds raised will go to research to find treatments and a cure, and also to send kids with MD to camp.

So give a little or a lot today to members of OFD as they collect donations today with the knowledge that you're making a wonderful difference in the lives of community members.
