False 9-1-1 Calls Have Stopped In Oneonta

A follow up now to a story we reported last week about Oneonta Police receiving hundreds of false 9-1-1 calls. According to the Oneonta Police Department, between Novovember 1st and November 6th, over 200 calls were made to the emergency number and it was believed an unactivated cell phone was being used to make the calls. The department posted on its Facebook page that the calls have stopped and they want to thank the public for their efforts.
