Domestic Violence

In commemoration of National Crime Victims’ Right Week the Violence Intervention Program at Opportunities for Otsego is preparing an exhibit to remember victims who were murdered in the act of domestic violence.

Entitled Empty Place at the Table the exhibit consists of a dining table surrounded by empty chairs, a powerful reminder that the tragic deaths left an empty place not only in the lives of their families, but in the community as well.

Empty Place at the Table will be on display at the SUNY Oneonta, Fine Arts Building from April 3 through April 7
