Delaware County Sheriff’s Dept. Investigates 2-Car Accident

Delaware County Sheriffs Deputies investigated a 2 car personal injury accident on State Route 10 in the Town of Kortright Monday. Deputies say 26 year old Daniel Hitchcock of South Kortright, was entering State Route 10 from Betty brook Road and failed to yield right of way a vehicle traveling south on State Route 10 operated by 23 year old Edward Wilson of Goshen. Hitchcock’s vehicle struck Wilson’s vehicle and it overturned. Hitchcock was ticketed for failure to yield right of way and is to appear in Town of Kortright Court at a later date. Deputies were assisted at the scene by members of the Bloomville and Delhi fire department’s and EMS squad’s.
