Delaware County Sheriff's Deputies recently responded to a report of two sheep tied to trees, without water, in the woods off Crystal Creek Road in the Town of Hamden.  After a lengthy investigation Deputies identified their owner as 37 year old Lee McDonald of Walton. On Tuesday Sheriff’s Deputies located, arrested and charged McDonald with two class “A” misdemeanor counts of Failure to Provide Proper Sustenance to animals under the New York State Agriculture and Market.  McDonald was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Hamden Court on on August 15th.

 McDonald was subsequently arrested on two outstanding Bench Warrants issued by the City of Oneonta Court for Failure to pay fine.  He was transported to the City of Oneonta Police Department where he was turned over to their staff to be arraigned on those warrants.
