Danielle Bradbery Wins Season 4 of ‘The Voice,’ Bruno Mars, Christina Aguilera, Pitbull + More Perform [Video]
Country singer Danielle Bradbery, 16, won Season 4 of ‘The Voice‘ tonight (June 18), making it the third season in a row that country singer Blake Shelton was the winning coach. It was a threepeat and the second season in a row that a female contestant has won.
The Swon Brothers were revealed as the third place finishers, although we doubt it’s the last we seen of them, as they were the first duo to make it to the finals in four seasons. That meant that quirky indie pop singer Michelle Chamuel finished second for Team Usher. We doubt that Ush will abandon Chamuel after growing so close to her, so expect to hear from her again, as well.
Christina Aguilera, who will return to her red chair for Season 5 after a season away, performed ‘Feel This Moment’ with Pitbull aka Mr. Worldwide (or Mr. 305, depending on his geographical mood) to open the show. Xtina’s album ‘Lotus’ may have flopped, and was supposed to be the reason that she took a season off, but the girl still has it, vocally!
Bruno Mars, decked out in a red suit, brought his new single ‘Treasure’ to the stage for a flawless and fun performance. That choreography was something else! It’s always a good time when Bruno Mars is in the hizzy.
Cher, an icon of all pop icons and the most diva-est diva out there, also world premiered her new single ‘A Woman’s World,’ closing out the performances by non-contestants. While Cher’s demo may skew a bit older, the uptempo dance song is ageless. Besides, she’s a consummate performer and she schooled everyone in that building with her perf.
Congrats again to Danielle Bradbery on being Season 4’s winner.
See ya next season.
